With Easter falling on Sunday April 12th and schools breaking up at the start of the month, there are more reasons than ever before to ski Scandi in April 2020.
SkiStar’s snow guarantee
SkiStar’s snow guarantee gives guests the chance to rebook their holiday at one of its other Scandinavian resorts if the snow isn’t up to SkiStar’s promised high standards (details below). There’s even the ‘money back’ offer in the unlikely event that conditions are not met at any of the Scandinavian destinations. A combination of longer, sunnier days and cold, crisp nights in April make for ideal conditions.
The brand new Scandinavian Mountains Airport
Opening in December 2019, the new, international Scandinavian Mountains Airport will open up the hugely popular resorts of Sälen in Sweden and Trysil in Norway to the UK market, with the closest ski area in Sälen just 10 minutes away and Trysil 40 minutes away.
Valle’s Ski School
SkiStar’s very own ski school, fronted by loveable snowman mascot Valle, is the ideal place for young skiers to hone their skills. Instructors teach Valle’s techniques and rules of the slopes at all SkiStar resorts. Valle helps children prepare for their holiday with a fun app full of games, songs and stories, teaching them Valle’s ski rules so they can become safer skiers before the holiday has even started.
Fun on and off the slopes
A SkiStar holiday is about much more than terrific skiing. The resorts are specifically geared to the needs of families – there are rock walls, swimming pools, bowling alleys spas, dinner shows and much more besides. There’s childcare for two to nine-year-olds at Sälen, Vemdalen, Trysil and Åre and baby minding from six months in Sälen.
