XCDS-backed British sportscar squad targeting sustained success in 2020

MPA Commercial is delighted to have successfully brokered a partnership extension between innovative international software vendor XCDS and front-running sportscar team United Autosports.

The renewal of XCDS and United Autosports’ official partnership will see the British outfit carry XCDS branding on its brace of ORECA 07 LMP2 class prototypes in the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours and on its driver race suits throughout the forthcoming European Le Mans Series campaign. The agreement was negotiated by MPA Commercial, an industry leader in the world of sports sponsorship.

XCDS – which stands for eXtended Collaboration Document Systems – focuses on powerful office solutions development and integration. The company plans to deliver its products through a worldwide network of qualified integrators and cloud service providers.

The XCDS team is composed of experts with years of high-load data processing systems, document editors and communication services development and maintenance experience. Its products are created to match large government and corporate organisations’ security and efficiency requirements.

The 2020 European Le Mans Series is due to get underway at Paul Ricard in France in July, after the season was put on hold due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The 88th running of the Le Mans 24 Hours is now scheduled to take place on 19-20 September, however all dates remain provisional.

Zak Brown, Team Owner and Chairman, United Autosports, said: “I’m really pleased that we have been able to renew our deal with XCDS for another year. We are hopeful that this relationship will continue to grow over the course of the season and I’m delighted to have them on-board again.”

Andrei Cheglakov, Founder, XCDS, said: “We are delighted to be renewing our relationship with United Autosports. We are ready to start an international marketing campaign for XCDS in the coming months, and I have always favoured collaborations with like-minded businesses.

“I believe Zak [Brown] and his team share our belief in the power of technology and communications, which have become so vital during this pandemic ‘lockdown’. We are also really looking forward to seeing the XCDS name out there supporting live sport!”

Daniel Bailey, Chief Commercial Officer, MPA Commercial, said: “It’s always rewarding to play a key role in a successful partnership negotiation – particularly during a period in which there seems to be a real shortage of ‘good news stories’ around. Although the industry is clearly suffering at the moment due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, here at MPA we are all continuing to push to develop positive opportunities, as this agreement attests.

“I have no doubt that the union of two companies of such a high calibre – both pace-setters in their respective fields – will result in further success over the coming season, and we look forward to following the XCDS-backed United Autosports Team on-track once racing resumes.”
