
BACKGROUND
Acknowledged as the expert in this field, MPA Creative was engaged by Brand Events to oversee PR and promotion for the new 2015 London Classic Car Show and continued to do so until 2018.
MPA Creative maximised its expertise and connections both nationally and internationally to generate massive pre-event awareness and thus above target advanced ticket sales. The campaign included media partnerships with the Sunday Times ‘Driving’ as well as several specialist titles.
In addition to writing and distributing news worthy media releases before, during and after the event, MPA Creative’s responsibilities included inviting key media to the Official Launch and Opening Evening Preview, managing photography, overseeing accreditation, setting up ticket competitions and staffing the busy Media Office at ExCeL.

MPA Creative worked closely with the team at Brand Events in the organisation and delivery of a highly successful Official Launch for the new London Classic Car Show.
An apposite venue was found in Kensington, VIP guests and media were invited and some of the world’s most beautiful classic cars were sourced not only for display but also for transporting key media to the event. To guarantee further coverage, TV chef and renowned classic car collector James Martin was among those invited.
Photographs of James with a priceless 1950s Ferrari Testarossa were widely used in the media, thus establishing key messages: the arrival of a new celebrity endorsed classic car show right in the heart of the UK’s capital city.
