Veloce and Quadrant set to star at Festival of Speed

Jamie Chadwick and Max Fewtrell to take on famous Goodwood Hillclimb

London-based Veloce will be showcasing both its esports and racing credentials at the much-anticipated Goodwood Festival of Speed later this week (23-26 June) and will be joined by Lando Norris’ rapidly growing esports, gaming and content brand – Quadrant – throughout the event.

Veloce Racing will be one of only two teams to blast its all-electric ODYSSEY 21 Extreme E car up the famous Goodwood Hillclimb with both Jamie Chadwick and Max Fewtrell sharing driving duties.

Chadwick – who raced for Veloce during the inaugural XE season while dovetailing with her title success in W Series – will again be reacquainted with the stealth-like #5 car, whilst former F3 driver Fewtrell – one of Quadrant’s key talents – will get his first-ever taste of Extreme E machinery.

The drivers will get two Hillclimb runs each day with Fewtrell enjoying his time in the car on Thursday and Saturday, whilst Chadwick will take over on Friday and Sunday.

Veloce Esports and Quadrant will also be present at the Festival of Speed as the hugely successful and experienced esports specialists take centre stage on the Veloce stand (159-161).

Festival-goers will have the opportunity to race up the iconic Goodwood Hillclimb on one of Veloce’s state-of-the-art Next Level Racing with Fanatec rigs and see how your times compare against the pros, whilst exclusive apparel from Quadrant’s latest merchandise drop will also be available for purchase.

Those attending the festival are urged to drop in and check out the Veloce stand, whilst those unable to visit can enjoy unrestricted access to our Veloce and Quadrant talent via their respective social media channels.

Jamie Chadwick said: “It will be great to get back in the Veloce Racing Extreme E car again and to be with everyone from the Veloce family. I was able to drive the car at a recent sponsorship event, which was great, but to take the car up the prestigious Goodwood Hillclimb will be a huge honour. The Festival of Speed is always such a fantastic event and I’m really looking forward to seeing the fans, as well as some familiar faces there.”

Max Fewtrell said: “I am delighted and privileged to be given the opportunity to take the Veloce Racing XE car up the famous Goodwood Hill. It’s been two years out of a racing car for me, and I’m itching to get back on a track and feel that buzz again. It’s going to be a mega event and we look forward to welcoming many of the Veloce and Quadrant fans over the course of the four days.”

Rupert Svendsen-Cook, Co-Founder & CEO Veloce Group added: “We absolutely rocked Goodwood last year- it was a huge success for us and our fans really loved it! With that in mind, we’ve doubled down this year to bring even more access across the entire Veloce family with our Veloce Esports, Racing and Quadrant squads in attendance showcasing all that we do. It’s an honour for our Extreme E car to be going up the hill and even better that it’ll be piloted by our superstar Jamie Chadwick who represents Veloce’s ethos in so many ways. With that said, to have Max Fewtrell in the car on behalf of Quadrant also really goes to further communicate our commitment to the next generation of fans and audiences we’ve been built upon as a company.”
